Finding full-time employment is an integral part of all Our House programs and the key to the long-term success of our clients. The Career Center equips clients with the support they need to grow personally and professionally through quality programming, resource referrals, and case management. We believe that with hard work and wise decision-making, clients can gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed in work and in life. We offer comprehensive services for adults to increase their education level, access employment, improve financial literacy, promote physical and mental wellness, and grow in their careers. The Career Center is uniquely equipped with the resources to allow us to serve people at every stage of their career development. All Career Center services are provided at no cost to participants and are open to the public.
We offer a variety of individual, group, computer-based, and classroom-based opportunities led by skilled volunteers, licensed instructors, financial professionals, Americorps members, and Our House team members. Additionally, we offer connections to on-the-job and occupational training, certifications, and job leads.
The Reentry program provides resources and support for individuals who experience challenges because of criminal charges on their background. Clients who enroll in the Reentry program work closely with a case manager to set personal goals, overcome barriers, and understand their legal situation. Participants are eligible for specialized employment assistance, training programs, legal advocacy, and educational opportunities.

Our House is an approved community service site. If you are required to complete community service hours, you may be able to complete them at Our House.
We offer a variety of court-recognized classes in our Career Center. If you are court-ordered to attend classes as part of your sentence or probation, you may be able to complete them on our campus. All classes offered at Our House are free.

Adult Education: GED prep, tutoring, parenting workshops, legal education
Employment and Training: Job skills classes, job training program, occupational training, employment coaching, career fairs, SNAP E&T services
Health and Wellness: Cooking, life skills, and physical fitness classes, and mental health and substance use support
Financial Empowerment: Financial education, connections to bank accounts, one-on-one budgeting sessions

Primary Healthcare: Our House partners with ARcare to host a free telehealth clinic every Thursday from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, as well as providing health insurance navigation for uninsured clients.
Bus Passes: Our House is part of the TAP 31-day bus pass program. Clients must attend orientation and three classes per month to be eligible.
