Our programs have significantly expanded in recent years, resulting in limited space on campus to process and store donated items. The Our House Store serves as our donation drop-off site. All donated items are used primarily for our clients and programs, but when we have items we are not able to use on campus, our two resale stores may sell them, and all of the proceeds benefit Our House. You do not need to schedule a time to drop off a donation at either of our store locations. Items from our Amazon Wish List and food items are always accepted on our campus.

We Cannot Accept

  • Clothing with stains or holes

Why not used toys?
Due to childcare restrictions, we are unable to accept used toys or cribs of any kind to the shelter. We accept new toys and pack-and-plays.

Why not expired food?
Our House operates a commercial kitchen subject to health inspections; therefore, we cannot accept expired food.

Our House accepts furniture and household items for residents transitioning into their own homes and CAFSI clients. Since space is limited, please coordinate with our team by calling 501-374-7383 ext. 401 to schedule a pickup. We are in need of:

  • Furniture: couches, beds (all sizes), dressers, tables, chairs, bookshelves.
  • Large appliances: washers, dryers, vacuums.
  • Cleaning supplies: mops, brooms, dish towels, soaps, disinfectants
  • Bed and bathroom supplies: linens, towels, blankets, toiletries
  • Kitchen appliances: microwaves, toasters, silverware, kitchenware

Items requested on our Amazon Wish Lists, special drives, or food can be brought/sent straight to campus at 302 E Roosevelt Road. 

In general, all other items should be brought to our Resale Stores because we have limited space to process items on campus.
