About Us
Hot Springs Friends of the Parks is a non-profit, 501c3 organization formed in 1994 that is made up of volunteers from the community working to increase, improve, or preserve parks, greenways, medians, trails, bicycle routes, wetlands, and recreational activities in both the city of Hot Springs and Garland County.
Friends strives to help with direct funds, work in kind, and advocacy. These activities preserve or improve opportunities for outdoor and family activity, individual health, economic conditions, environmental conditions, alternate transportation, and the overall quality of life in our community.
Friends’ efforts provide good cooperation and actions by government and private sector working together for community improvement.
