Affiliate Faculty Research Award
The Arkansas Space Grant Consortium (ASGC), a participant in the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program (NSGCFP), is accepting proposals for the Affiliate Faculty Research Program. This program is designed to educate and engage faculty, undergraduate, and graduate students with aerospace and related industries. The ASGC Affiliate Faculty Research Award supports aerospace and science-related research, encourages collaborations, and helps faculty guide students toward STEM career paths.
Eligibility Requirements
Autonomous Vehicle Challenge
Innovate, Design, Compete
The Arkansas Space Grant Consortium (ASGC), a participant in the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program (NSGCFP), invites faculty-led student teams from Arkansas institutions of higher education to apply for the Autonomous Vehicle Challenge. This project offers a design experience at the cutting edge of engineering education. It is multidisciplinary, theory-based, hands-on, team-implemented, outcome-assessed, and based on product realization. It encompasses the latest technologies impacting industrial development and taps subjects of high interest to students. Teams will design and construct an autonomous vehicle during two semesters in preparation for a competition hosted by an ASGC affiliate.
Collaborative Research Program (CRP)
The Arkansas Space Grant Consortium (ASGC), a participant in the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program (NSGCFP), invites researchers to apply for the Arkansas NASA Collaborative Research Program. This program provides seed funding in aerospace-related fields of interest to NASA Centers or aerospace industries. The program’s goal is to support workforce development and increase statewide academic involvement in space research, technology development, engineering, and education by fostering collaboration between at least two ASGC affiliate campuses.
